This month the spotlight is on Wojciech Bednarek, our Junior Developer / Senior Technologist.
What brought you into the world of market research?
Pure coincidence! I graduated from university and since then, I was looking for a job in IT in some shape or form to come along.
As it happened, I was offered a position in a small consultancy firm that provided operations support to the market research industry and I've happily been here ever since!
If you were stuck on a desert island and you could bring three people to join you, dead or alive, real or fictitious, who would you pick?
Well, this is fairly easy! My wife Emilia as she has the best ideas and extraordinary survival skills. No doubt she would keep all of us alive on the island!
Secondly, I'd bring my best friend Pete. We would just pass the time talking about geeky stuff such as movies or old-school games.
Finally, MacGyver from the TV series. He would use the sand and the only palm tree o the island to build us a yacht that would take us all back home!
Describe your ideal weekend?
The one where my wife doesn’t get me to do chores around the house!
On top of that, I love it when I can get some “me” time and just do things that I usually like to do to relax: watch TV, read random stuff on the internet and whatsapp with friends.
If one of my friends happens to be off work over the weekend, I might go to see them for a drink or two instead.
Favourite film, book and podcast?
I'm not a big fan of podcasts but all films with Arnold Schwarzenegger in are my favourite.
If I really had to pick one it would, of course, be “Predator”, the greatest movie ever made!
I never really had a favourite book, but I do enjoy reading them. Any good sci-fi or fantasy novel will do me just fine.
