Voters say the Government’s Spring Budget will not improve family finances - but will boost the economy, according to a snap poll by Omnisis.
The pollsters quizzed Brits following the Chancellor’s Spring Budget announcement today (15th March 2023), with 37% of voters disagreeing the budget is good for their family and 36% disagreeing that it will help their household over the next year.
However, 38% agreed the Budget was good for the country and 34% said the Budget will lead to economic growth. 31% disagreed that the Government got its priorities right in the Budget with 30% agreeing they had.

Of the Government’s Budget announcements today, we asked voters which they most approved of. Here are the top five most approved of policies:
- 76% no raise in fuel duty
- 74% retain energy subsidy
- 67% 30 hours of free childcare
- 67% support for disabled people to get into work
- 65% annual pension allowance increase
